MODEL NO: HP188F4BKM-GB
The 18-volt Black and Decker HP188F4BK gives you all the freedom of a cordless drill but still has an impressively powerful motor for more efficient drilling.
A new ratchet mechanism (from 11 to 15 teeth) also allows the drill to give more beats per minute for faster hammer drilling. It has a hammer action and second mechanical speed for drilling into masonry – this is perfect for heavy duty jobs around the home or garden.
A variable speed switch gives you a gentle start to ensure you maintain full control, and a reverse switch offers added versatility.
The Black and Decker HP188F4BK also has 2 mechanical speeds, for high torque driving and drilling into steel and high speed drilling into other materials.
An electronic brake ensures user safety and stops you from accidentally over-tightening screws. The Black and Decker HP188F4BK features a new battery locking system for the 1.7ah Ni-Cad battery. Anti-slip soft grip casings also provide extra safety and comfort.
High performance motor, gearbox and ratchet system (42Nm torque and 2 speed gearbox).

These are lightweight and easy to handle – can be used for drilling and screwdriving almost anywhere. No trailing cables to worry about.
They're powered by a rechargable battery pack – the higher the voltage, the more powerful the drill. You'll need to charge the battery fully before using the drill for the first time. Charging time usually takes between 30 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the model. A second battery means you can charge one whilst using the other – no down time.
All our drill drivers feature adjustable torque settings and are fitted with a keyless chuck – no tools are needed to change drill or driver bits.
Suitable for the more experienced and confident user, with extra power and torque than cordless drills, for more demanding and consistant use. They plug into the mains for constant power, the higher the wattage, the more powerful the drill.
Featuring a quick locking keyless chuck system, these drills offer considerably more power than other drills due to a large heavier motor.
They'll drill virtually anything from wood to brick and concrete. Models with Rotary Stop can be used for chiselling plaster and even some demolition work. Both cordless and cordered models are available.
Torque equates to turning power and can be adjusted to suit the material being drilled. Use low torque settings when driving small screws into soft wood and high settings for driving large screws into hard wood.
